"Judges must be perceived as beyond price. When litigants go to court they ... do not want the umpire calling balls and strikes before the game has begun."
Ann Walsh Bradley, Wisconsin Supreme Court justice

Justice at Stake Privacy Policy

Justice at Stake (JAS) is committed to protecting the privacy of our members, supporters, and activists. The Fair Courts Action Network (FCAN) and the Eyes on Justice Newsletter are opt-in, permission-based email lists. We will not email you without your permission. There are a variety of ways to subscribe to FCAN, including submitting a form at our web site, opting in when you send a message through our web site action center, and signing up at a JAS or JAS Partner outreach activity. JAS maintains records documenting the source of each individual's registration for FCAN. When you subscribe to the Fair Courts Action Network or to one of our other mailing lists, we collect your name, e-mail address, city, state and zip code. Unless you opt out, we will use your e-mail address to send you updates on fair courts issues and to ask you to take an action. FCAN sends messages on behalf of JAS, the Justice at Stake Campaign, and JAS Partners. We will not give, rent, or exchange e-mail addresses with any non-JAS organization. JAS provides FCAN subscriber information to our service providers -- on a confidential basis -- to enable them to provide services necessary to JAS's work (such as database maintenance or sending e-mail messages on JAS's behalf). You may remove your name from our e-mail lists at any time by sending a request to admin@justiceatstake.org.
